At Hagan Dentistry, our goal is to ensure that you and your family enjoy the benefits of good oral health.
We have seen the negative impact that ongoing dental problems have on patients’ lives, but we know that we can reverse that trend so you can enjoy life without worrying about your oral health.
We love visiting with our patients, but the truth is we would prefer to see you only twice a year for routine exams and cleanings! Because as complicated as dental care might seem, there is only one direct route to excellent oral health, and that is prevention.
There are three basic steps you need to follow to enjoy the best possible oral health:
During your exam, Dr. Hagan will check the condition of your teeth, note any potential problems, and take digital and panoramic x-rays if necessary. He will include you in the process by using technology like intraoral cameras that let us view problems together. Of course, we care about your safety, so every exam includes an oral cancer screening.
Based on the exam, we will make suggestions and develop an ongoing treatment plan to correct existing problems. Dr. Hagan may also recommend the application of dental sealants and fluoride treatments to protect your healthy smile.
As part of your professional cleaning, one of our skilled dental hygienists will check for signs of gum disease and, if necessary, recommend treatment to get your oral health back on track.
We understand that dental visits can be challenging. Everyone on our team will treat you with kindness, honesty, and respect because those are the things that build the foundation for a trusting relationship.
Dr. Hagan believes strongly in patient education so you can be aware of the ways you need to manage your oral health. Keeping your smile healthy is a shared responsibility, and if you do your part and we do ours, together we can significantly reduce the risk of oral health problems.
Our goal is to make your dental care affordable so you don’t have to put off dental visits because of financial concerns. Many insurance companies cover 100% of the cost of preventive treatments like exams and cleanings. We accept all major insurances except Medicaid (TennCare), and we are providers for Blue Cross, Delta, MetLife, and United. If you have questions about your particular plan, please call our office.
If you don’t have insurance, we offer the convenience of our in-house Hagan Dental Plan (HDP). You pay an annual fee that covers 100% of the cost of cleanings, exams, x-rays, fluoride varnish, and discounts on nearly all the services we offer, including cosmetic dentistry!
